It’s official! We are very excited to announce the Sagittarius Archers have partnered with the Vancouver Canucks to raise funds for the kids at Abbotsford Canuck Place Hospice. The first annual Shoot for the Kids, in support of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice (formerly the Fraser Valley Blacktail Buck Shoot) will take place the second weekend in July. We will be collecting money donations and items will be raffled off to raise funds for the children and their families. More details about this shoot will be released when available and we hope to see you there. To learn more about Canuck Place please visit www.canuckplace.org and more information about this partnership can be found on our Canuck Place Partnership page.

This year’s Chad Davis Memorial 3D Shoot and Pig Roast was once again a success. Thank you to everyone who attended the event, donated door prizes and a special thank you to all the volunteers who make this event possible.

Drop in archery is running every Wednesday evening from 7 to 9pm.  There are lights on the outdoor range with over a 70 yard range to allow for long shots after the sun goes down. Sagittarius Archers clothing is still available for purchase on Wednesday evenings. A limited number charcoal grey T-shirts are for sale for $20.  Shop early for best selection.

Located in the Fraser Valley, the Sagittarius Archers (pictured above) is a sub-club of the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club (AFGC).  There are three archery ranges on  the grounds of the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club: a 20 target 3D course, 70 yard outdoor range, and a 20 yard indoor range set up on Wednesday nights. The Sagittarius Archers also host four shooting events annually including a pig roast.

If you are interested in trying archery or joining our club we would be happy to see you any Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
